Experience magical Egypt up close in a small group without time pressure
Selket, one of the four golden protective goddesses on the sarcophagus of Pharaoh Tutankhamun,
is the namesake of our study tour, which takes us to the origins of Egyptian civilization. What is it, the invisible, the intangible, that fascinates us so much about Egypt and its legacy? Our interest in Egypt is accompanied by an invitation to explore this firsthand.
Special power places, even off the beaten track, allow us to look and feel behind the veil of so-called reality. In these places, we can literally sense the permeability of dimensions. Energy streams and portals allow us insight into other realms of the perceptible world and allow us to ask questions about our true nature. Why were pyramids and temples built in these places? What connects these places to the stars and the cosmic cycles?
with us, the people?
Meditation on the Giza Plateau and other energetically high-vibrating sites allows us to connect with invisible forces that have been at work here for thousands of years. In their energy flow, we can encounter ourselves internally and intimately reflect on our existence and the challenges of our present existence.
In ancient Egypt, yoga was part of the spiritual path. Its exercises are easy to perform. They promote stability, flexibility, and a fundamental trust in one's own potential. Each day, we will learn a yoga exercise together. This creates a small yoga flow that can be easily integrated into everyday life after the trip. If you have made yoga your profession and vocation, we can certify the completed yoga units (UE) as a seminar (AGPG certificate). If you would like to further deepen your knowledge of Egyptian yoga, you are cordially invited to our advanced training course.
A major advantage of Egyptian yoga is that even beginners can generally perform its poses and movements without difficulty. Average flexibility is sufficient; no previous yoga experience is necessary. The powerful, stabilizing exercises of Egyptian yoga promote
stability, spinal rotation, and synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain. The chest is stretched, and with it, the lung capacity is increased. The movements are very clearly structured and always performed with a calm,
Natural breathing makes Egyptian yoga a source of strength for all ages.

Between 14:30 pm and 15:30 pm.
Flight with Egyptair from Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Zurich, or Vienna to Cairo. Arrival in Cairo and transfer to the hotel, dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Today we visit the necropolis of Saqarra, the step pyramid of Djoser, built by the ingenious architect Imhotep around 4700 years ago. Another highlight of the day is a visit to the mysterious Serapeum burial site, discovered in the 19th century, with gigantic stone sarcophagi for mummified "sacred bulls." The shape of the Bent Pyramid at Dahshur is unique. Experts debate whether the striking bend was intentional or a construction error. There's no doubt about the Red Pyramid: It owes its name to the color of the stone used.
To kick off our journey today, we'll have a relaxed discussion about the historical background of Egyptian yoga and its energetic and vital aspects. We'll discuss Egyptian symbolism, which we'll encounter everywhere on our journey. We'll then turn to Egyptian cosmology and the concepts of body, soul, and spirit, and their connection.
We complement small exercises of inner silence with basic physical exercises with the spine as the central vertical axis of the human being, which connects us energetically with heaven and earth.
Today we visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, with the Alabaster Mosque and Sultan Hasan Mosque. We will have dinner in the beautiful grounds of Al-Azhar Park, from which we can enjoy impressive views of the Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque, and parts of Cairo. After dinner, we will enjoy a dervish dance show.
We talk about the effect of frequencies and sound on the human system.
The dance of the dervishes, which we are privileged to experience, is a striking example of the connection between the higher realms and the human being that can arise through movement. In silent exercises, we experience the sound and effect of the ancient ritual instruments and vocalizations.
In yoga practice we devote ourselves to exercises for strength and stability.
Drive to Fayoum. Visit the Meidum Necropolis. We will inspect the interior of the Meidum Pyramid, built by King Senefro. Due to its construction method and history, the pyramid is considered a transition from the step pyramid to the true pyramid. In the afternoon, we will visit the mastaba and tomb of Rahotep (son of Sneferu) and his wife Nofret (here, their excellently preserved statues were found and can now be admired in the Giza Museum). We will also visit the tomb of Sneferu's son, Nefermaat (architect of the Meidum Pyramid), and his wife Itet. Return to Cairo.
Today we'll explore the function of natural and guided breathing within Egyptian yoga. We'll combine the exercises we've learned with breathing exercises, thereby expanding their effectiveness on the physical, vital, and energetic levels.
Today’s physical exercises focus on flexibility and rotation of the
spine and joints.
After breakfast, we'll visit the Giza Plateau. We'll explore the pyramid area and visit the one that's open to the public—the Pyramid of Chephren or Mykerinos—as well as private tombs on the plateau. Then we'll visit the Sphinx and the legendary Valley Temple of Chephren.
In the afternoon, we visit Sheikh Gamal, who is known for his mediumistic abilities but who owns a shop selling ancient Egyptian essences with healing properties.
Visiting him and having conversations with him are always impressive and leave a lasting impression on every participant. After dinner at the hotel, we prepare for an unforgettable night at Cheops' Pyramid.
Today we'll talk about various methods for opening our perceptions. Silent exercises help us consciously sense our own energy and the energy of our surroundings. Visualization exercises complement the exercises with additional aspects.
We prepare for our time in the Great Pyramid.
Early in the morning, we drive to the Great Pyramids. We spend two hours there. We have access to all the rooms in the pyramid, from the Rock Chamber to the Queen's Chamber and the King's Chamber.
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Rest of the day free.
Together, we will reflect on our time in the Great Pyramid. Under the influence of its special energy, we will practice the exercises of Egyptian yoga in a conscious way, as a yoga flow.
Today we visit the Egyptian Museum, which, with its wealth of art treasures, grave goods and also mysterious new exhibits (more than 100000 pieces), is an absolute highlight of any trip to Egypt.
At the end of our journey, we will discuss the topics that have moved us during our time together. We will conclude our Egyptian Yoga seminar with silent meditative exercises and a repetition of the yoga flow.
The certificate (AGPG) and the participation certificate for the completed training hours will be sent by post upon request.
