Privacy Policy
Changes to our privacy policy and terms of use
On May 15, 2018, we will update our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. By continuing to use Lilly Reisen GmbH after May 15, 2018, you agree to the updates.
What is changing and why are updates being made?
Starting May 25, several new European data protection guidelines (GDPR) will apply throughout Europe. We would like to take this opportunity to explain when, where, and how much data Lilly Reisen GmbH stores and uses. This applies globally, if you use www.lilly-reisen.de yourself, but also for your homepage visitors, shop customers, forum users, etc.
www.lilly-reisen.de in general
When booking a trip, we need your email address, a telephone number, and date of birth. We require additional information such as your first name, last name, and address for billing purposes.
We use this master data only for billing purposes. We never share it with third parties. Using your transaction history, you can see what changes have occurred to your Roots Verlag account. Examples:
* Changes to master data
* Deleting a tool
* Sending a newsletter
We do not store credit card numbers. Since these are processed through the external service provider Stripe (stripe.com), we do not receive this data. When a payment is received into our bank, PayPal, or credit card account, conclusions can naturally be drawn about your Lilly Reisen GmbH account/invoice. This is necessary to allocate the amount to your Lilly Reisen GmbH account/invoice. None of this data is used for any other purpose. Deposits into your Lilly Reisen GmbH account are always made manually by you and never automatically.
Contact form and support center
To contact Lilly Reisen GmbH, please use our contact form. You will be asked for your Lilly Reisen GmbH ID, name, email address, phone number, homepage URL, and problem URL. We need this information to contact you and provide support. The following data is also stored:
* User's IP address
* Date and time of the contact request
Our email address is also available for contacting us. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the email will be stored. This data will not be shared with third parties. The data will be used exclusively for processing the conversation.
Newsletter
The Lilly Reisen GmbH newsletter is processed via double opt-in. This means that newsletter subscribers only become subscribers after clicking on the link in a confirmation email. Clicking the confirmation link creates a timestamp. The second option for adding email addresses as subscribers is to manually add them to the newsletter management system. These addresses must have the Lilly Reisen GmbH customer's consent (e.g., if the addresses are transferred from a shop or other newsletter system). Ensuring that this consent is obtained is your responsibility. When email addresses are added, a timestamp is created to show when this happened.
Each newsletter contains a unique unsubscribe link for each subscriber. This link cannot be deactivated in the newsletter settings. Once a subscriber unsubscribes, they are added to the Robinson list. They can only be resubscribed by manually activating the link (by clicking on the link in a subsequent confirmation email).
An export of the subscriber and Robinsons list is only possible in the Lilly Reisen GmbH newsletter administration and is only sent to the sender address of the newsletter.
Lilly Reisen GmbH does not use email addresses of subscribers, sender addresses, or similar for its own or other purposes and never passes them on to third parties.
Open rate
Newsletters sent in HTML format contain a so-called "web beacon," a one-pixel image. When the newsletter is opened, the one-pixel image is also called up. This allows us to associate the newsletter sent with the subscriber reached.
Although this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients for technical reasons, it is not our intention to monitor individual users.
Information about the browser, system used, IP addresses, access times, etc. is not collected. The only statistical data collected is whether a subscriber has opened a newsletter. This is displayed to the newsletter customer (sender) as the total open rate.
Click rate
Newsletter articles can contain further (external) links, whose clicks are counted for statistical purposes (number of clicks). In this case, the links are directed via an intermediate page that counts the clicks on the link. No further data (IP addresses, access times, etc.) is stored or used.
The clicks cannot be assigned to subscribers. Clicks are only counted as a total per article. It is not possible to determine which subscriber clicked on which article.

§ 6 Social media linking via “Shariff” button

This ensures that no data is transferred to the respective social network before the button is activated. The user's data is initially stored on an intermediate server. A connection to the social network is only established after the respective button is clicked. Activating the Shariff button then results in the data being transferred to the social network and possibly stored there.
(2) Karsten Brinsa uses a Shariff button on his website for the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”).
If you click the "Like" or "Share" button on Facebook, for example, or leave a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. Furthermore, Facebook makes your preferences public for your Facebook friends. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our page with your Facebook account.
